We are a group who enjoy racing model sailing yachts and the fellowship of those interested in the sport. We are a recognized fleet by the American Model Yacht Association and race 2 registered classes of model sail boats. For more information, go to: The fleet races 3 days a week from April to November. For more information, go to: We host 2 major regattas a year one in the spring for the CR-914 class and one in the fall for the EC-12 class. Our membership, also participate in local regional and national events in both classes we sail. We also have our social side with a picnic and winter get togethers. The DPMYC is a very active organization with an average of 14-15 boats racing on Sunday mornings. Major regattas draw attendance in excess of 25 boats from around the nation.We welcome all visitors and members to browse through the website and those interested in this sport to contact us through the website. |

2009 Leukemia Cup Regatta Saturday, August 29, 2009The North Cove Yacht Club is sponsoring a fund raising one day CR-914 Regatta for the leukemia-lymphoma Society there is also a post sailing party at Pilots Point Marina for an additional fee. This is a good oppertunity for our fleet to support our friends and a good charity as well as having a good time.
I have attached the NOTICE of Race and a link to the Leukemia cup site. On the site below you will find the entry form. REGISTRATION NOTE: I have talked to the Leukemia Society regarding supplied information on the entrance form. I have been assured that by seleting NO thank you in the approperate boxex on the first page the only emails you should receive will be regarding the regatta.
