2011 FALL FUN SERIES
Dust off your boats and come participate in a new Fall CR-914 series.The more you sail ,the more opportunities you have to improve your standing…Top five finishers will receive awards!!
When
Every Sunday (10:30 AM) starting September 11 and running for 8 weeks through Sunday October 30
Scoring
- Your results are based on your best four sailing Sundays.
- You may sail a minimum of four Sundays or up to 8 Sundays.
- Daily points are based on the inverse of your finishing position for the day (For example, if you are first of 15 boats, you earn 15 points. If you are first among 6 boats, you earn 6 points. If you are 6 out of 6, you get one point).
- As a sweetener for participation, you can also add 1 bonus point for each race day you enter…For example, 8 participations =8 points to add on to your base 4 day scores.
- A spread sheet of all participant results will be posted on our website every Sunday so all can see their relative status.
- If sailing needs to be cancelled ( eg hurricane/torrential rain), an e-mail will be sent out Saturday afternoon. Otherwise, we will be at the pond.
Suggestion
Try to sail the first four Sundays in order to meet the minimal qualifications to win an award. Even better, participate in all 8 race days and pick-up the easy bonus points.
